Additional information

<17>This is the first work that defines the problem of personalised feedback prioritisation in learning environments. It also proposes a novel hybrid approach combining Case-based Reasoning with Analytic Hierarchy Process to address this problem. This approach enables prioritisation of feedback based on the learners’ current behaviour, rather than the usual deterministic way of giving feedback based on errors made by the learner. Our approach makes the feedback more relevant and timely, which can enable deeper learning. This work was undertaken at Birkbeck College as part of the ESRC/EPSRC funded MiGen project.
