<22>It is evident that one of the challenging issues in vision based human motion analysis is its expensive computation which leads to the difficulty in implementing them into practical applications. The proposed fuzzy qualitative approach is validated in the surveillance context and achieves feasible computational cost for analyzing vision based human motion. This work is implemented to identify suspicious human motion behaviour from image sequences offered by Portsmouth CCTV control team. This paper won the Best Student Paper Award at KES2010.
