<10>XtreemOS was the last EU FP6 funded Integrated Project with over 20 industrial and academic partners involved. This paper had a significant impact on the last version of the XtreemOS Grid operating system. The paper helped uncover a major vulnerability in the initial design of the delegation solution in XtreemOS. As a result, this solution had to be completely re-engineered and a corrected component was deployed in the final version of the system. XtreemOS is now adopted by some of the major European companies like SAP, EDF and NEC and has been extended to another EU funded IP project, Contrail.
