Additional information

Work in this paper helped establish the group’s participation on the working group that is writing a new IEEE standard (IEEE Std. P1856) for Prognostics and Health Management of Electronic Systems (contact Professor Michael Pecht, University of Maryland, pecht@calce.umd.edu). Outputs from the paper also helped secure a new project funded by Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) for monitoring the health of subsea structures (contact Bob Hopkin, bob.hopkins@sse.com). Work in this paper has also contributed to a new £18M EPSRC flagship project – Underpinning Power Electronics, where Greenwich is leading the design modelling and simulation activities.
