Protestant-Catholic Conflict from the Reformation to the 21st Century: the dynamics of religious difference
This edited book was conceived by Wolffe, as part of his Global Uncertainties ‘Ideas and Beliefs’ fellowship. He identified, approached, and briefed the contributors; led a symposium to discuss drafts and gave close editorial attention to the final text. He guided the work of the two other members of his project team who contributed to the volume, John Bell and Philomena Sutherland. His own sole-authored chapters, the Introduction and the Conclusion, draw extensively on his own research as well as contextualizing the work of the other contributors through developing an innovative approach to the subject as a whole.
