Additional information

This paper combined expertise from three countries, UK, Czech Republic, and Cyprus, to produce the first formal framework for investigating highly realistic cultural heritage reconstructions. The key novelties in the paper are the ability to handle uncertainty and how a cultural heritage site may change over time. The techniques developed are now being applied with JLR (Brian Waterfield, Virtual Reality Manager, bwaterf1@jaguarlandrover.com) in the PSi (Program for Simulation Innovation) project to investigate the perception of vehicles in different lighting conditions.
