Additional information

This research comes from a visiting fellowship at the University of Florida (PIs: Hill & Hendrickson). The Ni-based single molecule magnet materials become of more interest to researchers in the area and this paper continues and completes the measurements. The complicated interactions and splitting of the EPR peaks has recently become more of interest to researchers in single molecule magnets (e.g 10.1002/chem.201202795).The applications of these materials are envisaged to be quantum computing, or high density data storage.
