Significance of output:

This paper has highlighted work into the fundamentals of the fatigue process in erosion-corrosion and fostered work with the Manufacturing Engineering Centre at Cardiff University. Continued work has led to a second journal article and more second study undertaken by Dr. John Walker on the location of the initial surface oxide film during erosion-corrosion and how it is mechanically mixed with the surface.
