My contribution to this volume in the new 11-volume Oxford Works of John Milton is the first full-scale scholarly edition of Milton's three 1649 prose writings - The Tenure of Kings and Magistrates, Observations Upon the Articles of Peace and Eikonoklastes -since 1962. I worked on this edition since 2006,collating copies around the world, and my contribution amounts to 35,000 words of the introduction, 110,000 words of edited text, and 75,000 words of textual notes and commentary. My co-editor edited separate works which are also included in the volume and had no involvement in the work cited above.
