As a pioneer report on the topic, Dr. Fu has received funding support from Carnegie Trust (~40K) and Scottish Sensing System Centre (~10K) for working with Company of Gas Sensing Solution for commercialization. Dr. Fu has also obtained funding from Royal Society of Edinburgh to collaborate and give talks in China and Netherlands. After publication, two book chapters have been invited to publish in years 2012 and 2013. Dr. Fu was invited to give a plenary talk in International Symposium on Functional Materials in Perth, Australia 2012, as well as an invited talk in Thin film Conference 2012 in Singapore
