Additional information

This paper presents the implementation, validation and clinical testing of a complete system for the guidance of pacemaker implants in patients with heart failure. The system was fully clinically translated to allow seamless operation in a catheter laboratory. Testing was carried out in 25 patients. The software was subsequently used for clinical studies [Shetty, European Heart J Cardiovasc Imaging, 2013]. The software was distributed via Philips Healthcare to other international sites. The article was also selected for front page coverage on the medicalphysics.org website.
