Additional information

<09> This paper is a key reference for testability transformation [35 GoogleScholar citations]. The transformation removes a common obstacle to search-based testing – deep levels of statement nesting in programs – thus enabling greater testability. This is shown with statistically significant results from a number of programs drawn from open source and industry. McMinn's collaborative work with Harman which began with this paper led to a £700k multi-site EPSRC grant on which McMinn and Harman are PIs (EP/I010386 and EP/I010165).
