In this book the two authors and translators share responsibility 50:50 for the Introduction (pp. x-xxix) and for the overall Translation (pp. xxx-xlv and pp. 1-179). Hoelzl has been solely responsible for the Appendix on Article 48 of the Weimar Constitution (pp. 180-226) and for translating and checking all the references to primary sources in the endnotes (pp. 227-302); this required extensive archival and library research in Munich and Vienna.
