A game theoretic approach to minimum-delay scalable video transmission over P2P
<15> The proposed scalable P2P video streaming system is based on a game theoretic framework. Our main idea is to integrate minimum-delay streaming functionalities within an incentive provision mechanism for scalable video over P2P that discourage peers from downloading videos with a quality which is higher than the one they can provide to other users. This paper derived to write two high impact conference papers: IEEE ICIP paper (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpls/abs_all.jsp?arnumber=6467345&tag=1) and IEEE ICASSP paper (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpls/abs_all.jsp?arnumber=6288372) and an invited paper in StreamingDay 2012 (http://www-dsp.elet.polimi.it/ispg/STDAY_2012/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&layout=blog&id=8&Itemid=56). The proposed policies are implemented in the EU FP7 SARACEN framework (http://www.saracen-p2p.eu/) and demonstrated at IEEE Globecom 2012 (http://www.ieee-globecom.org/2012/indforum0.html).
