Additional information

<01> This paper reports an original discovery of a new phenomenon in memristors that could impact computer architecture by exploring unconventional computing paradigms as described in Outputs 2 and 4. This feature has been verified by a circuit-based experiment. In addition, a potential application of using this feature in ultra-dense computer memory has been discussed. This work appears to have multi-disciplinary impact: out of 16 citations in Scopus, there are 3 from nano-science/microelectronics, 3 from circuit theory/systems, 3 from applied physics, and 7 others. This work was supported in part by an EPSRC Grant EP/E064930/1.
