Additional information

Walsh initiated and led this project, was the lead supervisor of PhD student Adamakis, and co-wrote the paper, which included the first use of Bayesian analysis techniques to improve and quantify the comparison between observations and 1-D hydrodynamic model solutions for the temperature along a coronal loop, together with consequences for the dominant operating coronal heating mechanism.
