Additional information

<21>This work is distinctive in that it is one of the first route learning systems on Android for people with intellectual disabilities. This research has led to new and enhanced relationships with the Laboratory of New Technologies in Communication Education and the Mass Media, University of Athens, University of Nottingham and ‘Access Advisr’ to crowd source the accessibility of transport networks (https://accessadvisr.net/). Further grants to extend route learning as a means to relieve anxiety in people with mental health issues have been submitted as part of ‘An Internet of Soft Things’ (EPSRC, Research in the Wild 2013, David Brown Co-investigator).
