Additional information

<28> The paper describes novel method and algorithm for reducing the complexity of semantically rich integrated networks through semantic collapsing. This method can be used to tailor the view of an integrated network to investigate specific biological hypotheses at a systems level. This is the first instance, to our knowledge, that such a method has been described for integrated networks in systems biology.
