Additional information
<01> Introduced in 1983 by Chua, Chua's circuit is a simple electronic circuit that exhibits classic chaos theoretic behavior. This paper derives several nonlinear oscillators from Chua's circuit by using memristors. These memristor oscillators have many interesting oscillation properties and rich nonlinear dynamics. The ease of construction of the designed memristor oscillators has made it a ubiquitous real-world example of a chaotic system, leading some to declare it "a paradigm for chaos". As reported by a research group at Harvard University in 2011, it led to a new type of adaptive electronic devices that may reshape the frontiers of electronics.
