Additional information

This is the 2nd of a series of papers resulting from the first research project to be funded by the new Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) R&D Fund (£87,000). The paper concentrates on staffing for safety in construction. The findings challenge existing thinking by earlier studies on the ratio of safety personnel to other workers. But instead identifies what they do that separates the best from the rest.
