The paper presents results of experimental investigation on frost resistance of cementitious mortars modified by new generation of superabsorbent polymers. These novel construction materials are currently under the development by the international scientific community (RILEM TC 225 (http://www.rilem.org/gene/main.php?base=8750&gp_id=241). The GCU (Dr Klemm) is the sole UK representative in this field.
