Additional information

Originality: Introduces a new and innovative approach to reaching rural women; the poorest and most vulnerable in societies in tackling climate change and food security. Significance: Bridges a significant gap in current challenging debates/academic intelligence between the natural/climate change sciences and social sciences. Rigour: The approach was verified and qualified by global donors at the UN/World Bank Global Conference on Women in Agriculture, New Delhi 2012. Impact: Led to Chairing the Second International Conference on Climate Change and Social Issue 2012 and secured funding (£65K) from USAID to assess approaches to reaching women in 4 developing countries (Africa and Asia).
