<21> Full paper in ACM CHI, the premier publication venue in HCI. Made a novel contribution in the form of a set of evaluation techniques that combine the best of both large-scale 'app store' deployments and small scale local trials, running them in parallel in order to add rigour, e.g. qualitative data from tens of local participants let us check the quantitative findings from (and derive new questions asked of) data gathered from ~200,000 remote participants. Led to the EPSRC programme grant A Population Approach to Ubicomp Systems Design (~£4M, EP/J007617/1).
