Automated Quality Assurance Analysis: WRF–A Case Study
<9> International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology and Journal of Software is an important outlet facilitating the exchange of research within the academic and engineering communities. This paper represents the findings from ongoing evaluation of errors which exist in academic software models. The work in this paper considers the quality assurance processes that are deployed in the development of two models, and identifies how those processes do not capture a range of code anomalies. The output is significant as understanding the anomalies will aid the development of higher quality scientific models used for policy and operational decisions by government and military agencies.
