Additional information

This EU-funded research concerns the modelling of binary/ ternary oxide ceramics as matrices for non-oxide ceramics for use as precursors for plasma-sprayed coatings. The work provides a generic methodology for feedstock manufacture and plasma-spray deposition of ceramic-ceramic composite coatings for heavy-duty engineering applications, such as engine components and machine parts.
