Additional information

<08> This paper won the "ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award" at ISSTA 2013, a first tier software engineering conference ranked in the top 3% of all CS conferences on Arnetminer. The study of data structure shapes has previously focused on complicated structures. We show, however, that the majority of shapes encountered in practice are simple and introduce ways to exploit this simplicity to improve programmer productivity and software reliability. This work will change the focus of all future work on heap analysis.
