<12>This paper presents a new method to separate two components of some data which are not orthogonal, but spatially and temporally correlated. The key insight is to find an angle such that alignment of the data with respect to that angle separates the components. Previously there was no straightforward method for separation of correlated data in the field of source separation. This method also paves the way for decomposition of correlated components in many measurements of natural/physiological data, such as mental fatigue analysis.
