This special issue of the Journal of British Cinema and Television on ‘Film in Britain and the New Millennium’ was jointly conceived, jointly commissioned and jointly edited (with Julian Petley) by Hill. Hill also co-authored the Introduction (pp. 305-9) and contributed his own essay, ‘”This is for the Batmans as well as the Vera Drakes”: Economics, Culture and UK Government Film Production Policy in the 2000s’ (pp. 333-56). The Journal issue has also been sold separately with an ISBN number: 9780748645664.
