Additional information

The work was funded by BAE Systems (contact: Amir Rezai, Rezai, Amir.Rezai@baesystems.com) and the EPSRC (Cranfield IMRC- EP/E001874/1). The models developed allow tailoring of nanoparticle spatial distribution and enable localised modification of composite components to be made. Elements of this work received the Best Contribution award at the 10th International Conference on Flow Processes in Composite Materials (Ascona, Switzerland, July 2010).
