Additional information

This paper results from a collaboration between Cranfield and Leeds universities under EPSRC grant EP/E036945/1.

The computational code for LES, which will offer industrial and academic users of LES an improved sub-grid scale modelling technique, was initially developed in the framework of an international collaboration with Prof Kirkpatrick at the University of Sydney (michael.kirkpatrick@sydney.edu.au) and Dr Ranga Dinesh (dinesh.kahanda-koralage@soton.ac.uk) at Southampton University.
