Additional information

Collaboration under EC Framework 7 funding with subcontracting relationship with Cambridge University.

The research provides a preliminary assessment of the influence of nano particulate reinforcement in a range of industrial resins of potental application to aerospace. The specific area of wing leading edges makes the focus of this work unusual. The outputs include unique errosion damage threshold data and observations on wettability and ice adhesion essential to successful further development of such materials for wing leading edges Contact: cristina.elizetxea@tecnalia.com.
