Additional information

The techniques outlined in this paper were adapted to support wind tunnel tests on an EPSRC funded collaborative project with Southampton, Cambridge and Manchester Metropolitan Universities: 'A Study of Practical Abatement Techniques for Exhaust Jets from Commercial Aircraft'. (EP/H002987/1). This has led to a novel technique for vortex wake simulation, to more accurately simulate vortex dynamics and hence pollutant dispersion.
