Additional information

A collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover and University of Zagreb in Croatia, funded by JLR. (Dr. Matthew Hancock, mhancoc1@jaguarlandrover.com, Dr. Mike Richardson, mrichar6@jaguarlandrover.com).

Outputs were utilised to develop a control algorithm to optimise yaw stability and traction in this type of active differential. This research has resulted in the production of this differential on Jaguar XKR and XFR vehicles (Paul Darnell. pdarnell@jaguarlandrover.com).

The upcoming Automotive Encyclopaedia will include a chapter about this subject, (Lucy Wheeler, automotive@wiley.com).
