Double-weighted statement

Comparing the laws of Christians globally is problematic; they have not hitherto been gathered together for comparison. This monograph is the first comprehensive global analysis of Christian laws. It examines the legal systems of approaching one hundred churches worldwide across ten of the twenty-two global church families. This 250,000 word monograph is the product of a sustained period of research and thought over approximately ten years. It analyses a wide range of primary sources (from codes of canon law, through books of church order, to church covenants) proposing that dogmas divide but laws link Christians in norms of action.
