Additional information

This international collaborative work with U of Mississippi USA describes antenna bandwidth widening and size reduction techniques. It provides thorough analysis of techniques, especially in the mobile phone antenna design for 5G and beyond. There is no such information in the literature before. Two consultancy projects resulted from this paper; the Vodafone Booster Brolly (Ben Taylor), and DSTL Satellite Smartphone projects (Ian Harrison, £50k). The booster brolly project was widely reported in international media, including BBC(14 June 2012), ABC(9 July 2012) interviews, IET (http://eandt.theiet.org/news/2012/jun/vodafone-brolly.cfm), Marie France magazine (October 2012) and hundreds of technical websites in various languages.
