Additional information

First multiphoton imaging of single trial sensory-evoked calcium signals in dendrites of many neurons simultaneously. Also first information theoretic analysis of multiphoton imaging data. Led to industry collaboration with Scientifica Ltd, resulting in Royal Society Industry Fellowship (2012-2015) and BBSRC Industry Partnership Award (BB/K001817/1, £620k). Resulted in an invited talk at the 14th international Monitoring Molecules in Neuroscience meeting, co-chairing the IoP-sponsored symposium on Advances in Photonic Tools and Techniques for the Life Sciences 2012, and speaking to approximately 80 CEO and CTO-level executives of multinational companies at the Imperial Business Partners Technology Foresight Conference in 2012.
