Additional information

<28>The significance of the approach developed in this paper is that it that does not require a pre-defined structure/model for fMRI analysis, and hence efficiently achieves more compact nonlinear models than alternative approaches, an important requirement in this developing field. This paper involved collaboration with the University Paris 06, France, and strengthened a successful bid to establish a £5.3M functional brain mapping facility at Ulster in 2013.
