Additional information

Competitive robotic behaviour can learn from biological processes, such as interaction of territorial fish. Paper analyses model of territorial behaviour based on voronoi tessellations using mixture of bifurcation analysis tools and analytical techniques. It reveals intricate bifurcation structure with many coexisting states, mimicking examples seen in real life. Results are also verified to be robust using experiments with robots. Led to co-author Moehlis' invitation to present at SIAM conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems (Snowbird, Utah, USA, 2011).
