Additional information

Purpose of paper is to optimise canard-configured civil aircraft during early stages of design process within constraints of intended flight envelope. Key attribute of methodology is speed at which process can be iterated at different user-nominated fidelities and that full dynamic models can be generated from limited number of initial parameters. Bristol contributions were embodied in widely-used CEASIOM software which has been made freely available [tinyurl.com/gen-eng-75].
