Cinema and Landscapes: Film and Cultural Geography
The volume was co-planned by Harper and Rayner. They selected and approached contributors and ordered the chapters to provide a circumnavigation of the geographical and cinematic world. The editing of the contributions was shared 40/60 between Harper and Rayner; Rayner was responsible for the chapters by Harper (G), Harper (S), Britton, Hope, Widdis, Kennedy, Dissanayake, Hayward, Prager. Both editors worked on Gunning’s chapter. The introduction was written collaboratively by both editors. Rayner was responsible for preparing the filmographies and bibliographies, and selecting and gaining permissions for all illustrations, except those for Gunning's chapter. Both editors prepared the index.
