Additional information

This paper demonstrates a new approach for the design of microwave multiplexers. All other multiplexers have some form of additional power splitting network; here it is done by microwave resonators which also form part of the filter action. The significance of the paper is not only in the multiplexer itself, but also in the fact it opens up a significant new avenue of microwave circuit research with an exacting design methodology. The ideas were a significant contributor to a successful EPSRC grant application.
