I was Principal Investigator of the CONFORM project, of which EMMA was part, and responsible throughout for the overall running of the project, taking it from the original consortium bid through the final design phase to the construction and the successful first operation, with active involvement in overall charge of the management, organisation and budget. Also I pushed this particular first EMMA publication to be published in Nature Physics, rather than one of the lower profile journals more familiar to accelerator scientists.
