Based on this work, Dr Knowles (ID_in_audit_file@gmail.com) has been hired by Stanford University to continue research in this area. This work also resulted in a funded collaboration with Microsoft Research Cambridge (contact Dr John Winn, ID_in_audit_file@johnwinn.org) including a paid part-time position for Dr Knowles. A research contract with Infosys Bangalore India (contact Dr Lokendra Shastri, ID_in_audit_file@infosys.com) worth USD296,653 was obtained applying similar Bayesian factor methods to market basket analysis and recommender systems.
