1. Project development: developing and designing the project, convening the partnership, and overseeing content selection, based on research need, demand, and rights issues, supervising delivery of the archive.

2. Project design: design of the data model and interface for the project, structuring data for browsing, designing functionality of the archive and selection of technologies used.

3. User design: designing and overseeing implementation of the interface based on an extensive user-driven design process.
