Additional information

<20> The contributions in this paper arose from an ongoing collaboration between Louchart and academics in the HWU Dept of Mechanical Engineering, aiming to transform aspects of the traditional engineering design process via 'serious games' and related technologies. The ideas and techniques in this paper were also the underpinning content for WP 2.1 (Serious Games Mechanics – led by Lim/Louchart) in the EU FP7 GALA (Game And Learning Alliance) Network of Excellence (EU FP7 €7.59M, 2010-14.
