Additional information

This publication describes how micromechanical sensors, thus far mainly thought of as mass sensors, can be used to simultaneously determine the mass and mechanical properties of analytes that adhere to the sensor. This has been demonstrating by a measurements of both homogeneous and inhomogeneous (island-grown) metal films. The ideas, development and testing have all been done in Bart Hoogenboom's group.
