Additional information

<20> As technologies evolve, there is a higher need for customising interfaces, specially for rehabilitation and assistance. The number of older adults is increasing, expected to double up by 2060, and there is an increasing need for technologies that can adapt to humans, rather than expecting the human to adapt to them, in our day-to-day interactions. The output from this research has supported the SCRIPT grant application (Supervised Care and Rehabilitation Involving Personal-Telerobotics, FP7 STREP, £616,051 UH share), which received funding from the European Commission and is coordinated by UH.
