Additional information

The publication documents the first work of a novel approach to silicon integrated circuit data security. Murphy's original hypothesis and the science of mixed radix (m-of-n) logic was a by-product of a real world, but insecure, Smartcard design at Sharp European Research Labs, Oxford. The principle idea being that an m-of-n data representation could link the mathematics of cryptography to hardware implementation using multi-valued logic. This particular journal is one of the highest impact journals by the IEEE and known to only publish significant scientific contributions. The work also led to a ~750k EPSRC (SCREEN) project.
