Additional information

<20> An extended journal paper selected as a Highlight of the 1st IEEE Symposium on Biological Visualization (7/20 accepted papers were highlights from 54 peer reviewed submissions).
It resulted from a collaboration with geneticists at The Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh BBSRC grant (Ref:BB/H023879/1).
The paper evaluates a visualisation technique designed by Kennedy for representing large pedigrees with multidimensional data on each node. The design was published in Computer Graphics Forum doi:1011-1020, 2011. No other visualisation technique can support exploration of this complexity. The research addresses a data wrangling challenge as set out in Kennedy-2 forming the basis of data cleaning tool.
