<06> This is a novel solution in mobile networks to develop an extensively examined unique dynamic counter based broadcast algorithm to overcome the broadcast storm problem. Two consultancies in industry have resulted from this paper. Part of international collaborations with international partners. This paper led to a new PhD topic and, a FP7 IRSES project. This research was also influential in inspiring others, e.g., Bakhouya (Finland), Gaber, (France), Lima (Portugal), Ranganathan (India) and Q. WANG (China) who considered and cited our solution in reducing the effect of the broadcast storm problem. Published in a top Elsevier Simulation Journal.
